Description of the Basic Etna Quad tour
Itinerary
An “off-road” itinerary that allows you to visit some of the best preserved natural sites of the Etna volcano on the North side. The tour takes you through the centuries-old Ragabo Pinewood and along the last eruption of 2002.
During the stops our expert guide of the Etna volcano territory will tell you the history of the place where you stop.
At the end of the quad tour you will feel like true professionals, and you have lived an unforgettable experience.
The route
The Basic Etna Quad tour is ideal for those who want to experience adventure and enjoy a little taste of the volcano. The quad bike tour lasts about 1 hour, with departure and arrival at the Ragabo Refuge – Etna Nord. The route is simple and panoramic, for 90% of the route we drive off-road with the quad bike.
The quads are automatic and easy to drive. In maximum safety they can transport even 2 people.

Quad tour restrictions
Driver
To drive a quad bike you must have a B license and a minimum age of 18 years.
Pregnancy
Pregnant women can’t come on the tour.
Fitness
Not recommended for travelers with back problems.
Children
A minimum age of 6 years is required. Children can only come as passengers.

Directions
The tour starts from Rifugio Ragabo, Linguaglossa – Etna Nord. In the centre of Linguaglossa, turn for Etna Nord, and continue on the Mareneve road for 13 km. You will find the refuge on the left. You can park here for free.
