Choose one of the quad excursions and accompanied by an experienced guide you will discover the active Etna volcano, or descend to the cold waters of the Alcantara river. During the quad tour the guide will tell you more about the Mount Etna and its boiling heart.
Quad rental
Quad tours are possible every day of the week, but only on reservation. We advice you to send an e-mail a bit in advance, so you know when it is possible to rent a quad and which excursions are available on the day of your choice.

Starting point quad tours
Etna Quad excursions start from Rifugio Ragabo in Linguaglossa, on the north side of Mount Etna. From Taormina our starting point is about 1 hour driving. From Catania it is about 1 hour and 15 minutes driving. Etna Quad can only be reached by car. There is no public transport to our starting point. Of course you can come by taxi.
Quad biking
A maximum of 2 people can go on 1 quad. A driver’s license is required to drive a quad, so always take it with you on the day of the excursion. The quads are automatic and have a handbrake and a foot brake. You can accelerate with your thumb on the right side.
When you rent a quad and join Etna Quad on an excursion, fuel is included. We will also provide you with a helmet. We advise you to wear closed shoes and to bring sunglasses for the dust while driving. We also advise you to always bring a jacket, it can be cooler in the mountains!
Children are allowed as passengers on the quad. We have a minimum age of 6 years. Pregnant? Then you are not allowed to ride a quad, not even as a passenger. Safety comes first for us!
